One of these days I will get around to rewriting this front page so it isn't slopped together. For now though I've just updated some text and added some links.
Art Munson

WHO AM I?

I graduated from Williams College in Northwestern Massachusetts in June, 2001. I graduated with a BA in Computer Science. If you want a resume, please contact me at the address at the top of the page. Here is a link to my undergraduate thesis on Caching and the Java Virtual Machine. Also during my undergraduate degree I took a graphics class, during which I wrote a simple ray tracer. Here are a few images from that assignment.

As of September 2003, I am now a graduate student at Cornell University in computer science.

PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES...

Over the last couple of years I've started to catch the shutterbug. I'm a little behind in preparing my pictures for online consumption . . . but fear not, I'll make an effort to catch up by Christmas 2003. All links below are in reverse chronological order.

[2007.09.02] A crude photo documentary of some fine Munson Engineering to clear the water out of our cellar. Some of my college friends will appreciate the monkey science pedigree of my solution. I just wish I had found a way to use more duct tape...

When Katy and I came back East from Seattle in August 2003, we took about ten days to make the car trip.

Everyone is coming down with marriage-itis! Here are the pictures to my brother Paul's wedding, July 2003

Congratulations to me, I got married in June 2003! Pictures from my honeymoon in France are not really ready yet...but you can look at them without labels / descriptions.

After graduating from Williams in June, 2001, I took a six week trip across the United States with my future wife Katy.

LESS SERIOUS PROJECTS...

In my current small amount of free time, I enjoy roleplaying. Through high school and my undergraduate degree I modified the Marvel Super Heroes system for use in a fantasy setting. I've moved past it, but if you want to check it out, here it is.

I recently started a new campaign called Bubbleworld.

I also enjoy reading and watching movies. If you are curious, here is my big list of culture.
