Curriculum Vitae
Name: Katherine Miyamoto Munson
Age: 27
Home: near Ithaca, NY
I work as a technician in a
research laboratory
at Cornell University. I won't
bore you with details, but we work on transcriptional regulation using
the D. melanogaster model system.
Here's where the schedule starts getting busy:
I cantor, play flute, and sing with the choir at
All Saint's Church in Lansing, NY.
My main focus: a small community-based auditioned women's choir.
Currently we're re-establishing our identity in the community, and I'm
helping by maintaining our
web site.
A much larger group, the community chorus meets weekly and has two
concerts a year.
In the summers I play flute with the Concert Band. Art plays
with them all year round. We do
several concerts in Downtown Ithaca and at various parks nearby.
My husband runs a
role-playing
campaign that I spend time playing with friends.
Otherwise, I like to swing dance when I get the chance and play
cards with family and friends.
I also try to stay in touch with friends from Williams through
LiveJournal,
AIM and email.
Stuff I Used to Do
Okay, so I don't sing with them regularly anymore, but they still
rock, and I sing with them occasionally at reunions.
Looking forward to homecoming!
