Art's Wish List
Wish lists are fantastically handy. The receiver gets
something they want/need, and the giver can be confident the gift
will be enjoyed. But in addition to removing the guess work, they
also remove the mystery and most of the surprise.
Please, feel free to surprise me with a gift you think I'd
like, or that resonates with our friendship. If you are short on
time or ideas, I understand completely --- I have a wishlist on Amazon to
help you out. Some items I would like don't fit well in a wish
list; you can find them below.
Sincerely,
~art
Some Ideas
- Your Favorite Book: If there is a really good book you think I would like (or think I should read, regardless of my enjoyment), give me a copy (used is fine). Or at least tell me the title.
- Your Favorite Movie: As with "Your Favorite Book", but replace "book" with "movie" and "read" with "watch".
- Functional napkin rings. We have cloth napkins, but can never remember who used which napkin after the first use. Maybe some interesting napkin rings would solve this.
- A nice brown belt. (I wore out the two I got a couple years ago. Katy says I can't use duct tape to fix them.)
- A nice button-up shirt (short or long sleeve). Katy is ready to turn some of my favorites into rags.
